I run a small network and following a spell in hospital have returned to find that I have forgotten the administrators password and so cannot open up the server in order to administer the network. I do nor really want to re install Windows as it will wipe all the other info and settings on the partition.

Are there any dependencies when changing the Admin password? I recently changed the Administrators password and mail stopped routing. Do I need to stop and restart mail services, on my front and backend mail server? This may be a exchange 101 question, but our Exchange Admin is unavailable for a couple weeks.
